A six-year-old boy was electrocuted by an exposed electrical wire while playing outdoors in Mulund. After investigation, the Mulund police have registered a case against six people including two officials of Mahavitaran after nine months.
The deceased son's name is Arnav Bhandare and he lived in Mulund Colony. A power line of the Mahavitaran Company passed near his house and it was open. While playing outside, Arnav touched a power line and got electrocuted. He was seriously injured. His family immediately admitted him to a private hospital. But as his condition was serious, he was admitted to the Agarwal hospital of the municipality. He died there during treatment.

As soon as the Mulund police got information about the incident, they registered a case of accidental death. But Arnav's family demanded an inquiry, alleging that the incident happened due to the negligence of Mahavitaran.
Accordingly, Mulund police conducted an investigation and it came to light that the incident happened due to the negligence of Mahavitaran officials and local residents. Accordingly, the police have registered a case against two officials and four local residents on Tuesday.
