Thane: ST Bus Dashes Metro Pillar, 11 Passengers Injured

A Maharashtra State Road Transport Corporation (MSRTC) bus hit a metro pole on Ghodbunder Road in Thane. 11 passengers were injured in this accident and their condition is stable. The accident took place near the oval signal on Ghodbunder Road on Monday night. It is being reported that the accident took place due to the loss of control of the driver. The ST bus hit the pillar and the front side of the bus was damaged.

11 people have been injured in this accident. Sources say that they have been admitted to Vedanta, Ramanand and Titan hospitals and their condition is stable.


Officials from MSRTC's traffic management department arrived on Tuesday morning to remove the bus. Traffic on Ghodbunder Road is not affected.
