Usha Uthup's husband Jani Chacko Uthup died of a heart attack. The incident happened while watching TV at home. It has been reported that he suddenly felt unwell while watching TV at home in Kolkata. Jani Uthup complained of feeling unwell. Seeing his deteriorating condition, his family took him to a nearby hospital, but doctors declared him dead.
Jani was 78 years old. His death has left the family and music industry in mourning. Jani Chacko Uthup used to work in the field of tea production. The couple has two children, a son Sunny and a daughter Anjali. The family informed us that Usha Uthup's husband will be cremated today (July 9). Jani Chacko Uthup was Usha's second husband. Usha got married twice. She was first married to Ramu Iyer. However, they separated in just five years. Both Usha and Jani met in the early 70s. After the first divorce, Usha got married to Jani.
