The Maharashtra Housing and Area Development Authority (MHADA) lottery for its houses in Mumbai, Nashik, and Pune will be delayed due to the Code of Conduct during the Lok Sabha elections in the state. Therefore, the applicants will have to face a delay in attaining the houses.

The Lok Sabha polls are set to begin next month onwards in Maharashtra and due to the Code of Conduct during the elections, and therefore, the lottery will be announced after May 23.
The housing authority will be declaring lottery for 217 houses as well as 276 shops.
