Shiv Sena and Shiv Sena Uddhav Balasaheb Thackeray are engaged in accusation-counter-accusation politics on the issue of Mumbai. Shiv Sena Uddhav Balasaheb Thackeray party MLA Aaditya Thackeray has written a letter raising the issue that the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) is going to erect hoardings on vacant lots. MP Milind Deora has replied to this letter.

What letter did Aaditya Thackeray write?

Aaditya Thackeray has written a letter to BMC Commissioner Bhushan Gagrani. The civic body has planned to put up hoardings on the open space on the Coastal Road Garden site near Haji Ali and Amerson's Park, Breach Candy. Four to five open spaces have been created for it along the coastal road. These spaces have been given to contractors before they are open to citizens.

We are against this, and we will also be against the hoardings. Our original dream project had no space for hoardings. This is our word to Mumbaikars that once our government is formed this year, we will take down the hoardings and punish the contractors and officials who are destroying our city.

What is Milind Deora's post?

Instead of writing such love letters to the BMC Commissioner of Mumbai, present the real agenda of Mumbai's development. Mumbai is developing rapidly under the leadership of Chief Minister Eknath Shinde and Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis. Substantial progress is being made in Mumbai's infrastructure. Major projects like Metro were stalled during your rule. Then don't forget that the Mahayuti has worked tirelessly to complete it ahead of schedule.

Milind Deora said Aaditya should focus on Worli

“Mumbai will now have its largest public park at the Mahalakshmi Race Course. It's better than your 2013 theme park idea. You focus on your area. That's where I got to see your unpopularity.”
