Days after a winning the Maharashtra Elections with a majority, Devendra Fadnavis has officially taken the oath as the Chief Minister of Maharashtra for the third time at a grand ceremony held at Azad Maidan, Mumbai, on December 5.
The swearing-in ceremony also saw Eknath Shinde and Ajit Pawar taking the oath as Deputy Chief Ministers, signaling the strength of the Mahayuti alliance in the state.

Shinde’s oath as Deputy CM comes after his pivotal role in the political realignment in the state, which led to the formation of the Mahayuti alliance. The ceremony, attended by numerous political leaders, also saw Devendra Fadnavis taking the oath as Chief Minister for the third time, marking a new chapter for the BJP-Shiv Sena-NCP coalition government in Maharashtra.
