The Aarey-BKC phase of the Colaba-Bandra-SEEPZ Metro 3 project was inaugurated with much fanfare on Saturday and the Aarey-BKC underground metro journey was opened for Mumbaikars from Monday. However, within two days, the metro service in this phase was disrupted and at around 10:30 am on Wednesday, the metro was disrupted for half an hour at Sahar station. Hence, commuters opting for the metro to reach the office quickly had to endure the delay.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the Aarey-BKC phase of the 'Colaba-Bandra-Seepz Metro 3' project on Saturday. Not only this, the Prime Minister also travelled by underground metro. Mumbaikars were also happy to have an option of quick travel. The Aarey-BKC phase was opened for common citizens on Monday. Therefore, many Mumbaikars thronged the stations between Aarey and BKC to travel by metro.

But within two days, the happiness of Mumbaikars has faded. Metro was running late on Tuesday. Metro reached BKC station after half an hour. By that time, the station was crowded with passengers. Passengers were shocked as they were not getting any information about when the metro service would be restored. Metro services were disrupted during normal office hours, leaving commuters in a tizzy.

Passengers had a similar experience on Wednesday. At Sahar station, around 10.30 am on Wednesday, the metro was stuck for half an hour. Commuters did not understand what exactly caused the disruption to the metro service. On the one hand, the metro was running late, on the other hand, the crowd of passengers was increasing in the station. This created a lot of confusion for the passengers.
