As a precautionary measure before the onset of monsoon, the Parks Department of Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) has undertaken proper and scientific pruning of large and dangerous tree branches. But these works are obstructed by the parked vehicles installed on the side of the road.


The departmental offices of the BMC are informed in advance about the pruning of trees in that area. Also, the civic body is appealing to cooperate with the administration in this process and remove their vehicles from such places. It has been clarified by the administration that if the vehicles are unfortunately damaged during tree trimming, then the civic body will not be responsible for it.

After a survey in the Mumbai metropolis, pruning of dangerous tree branches is underway by the Parks Department. But while this pruning is going on, the vehicles parked on the side of the road are getting in the way. In order not to damage the vehicles, the division office of the BMC informs about the pruning of trees in that area in advance. Therefore, according to the fixed time, the vehicles should be removed from the respective place and taken to another safe place. It has been clarified that if the citizens do not remove the vehicles from the respective places despite the administration's appeal and the vehicles are unfortunately damaged during tree trimming, then the municipal administration will not be responsible for it.
