A private company is working to construct a metro station at Rambaug Bridge and NTPC Junction on the JVLR line under Sakinaka Transport Division. Therefore, this route has been temporarily closed till May 31 every night between 1 am to 6 am.

'These' road closed for motorists:

From Ganesh Ghat on JVLR Road to Rambagh Rambagh Bridge descent, traffic on North Channel will be closed for all types of vehicles.

Traffic on South Channel from Powai Plaza to NTPC Junction on JVLR Road will remain closed for all types of vehicles.

Alternative route:

Traffic on JVLR Road Rambagh Bridge North Channel will be diverted through South Channel. Also, the traffic on the south channel of the bridge will be diverted through the service road.

Traffic on the south channel between JVLR Road Powai Plaza to NTPC Junction will be diverted through the north channel.

Moreover, subway widening work is underway at Janta Colony, Jogeshwari, commuters using the southbound lane of the Jogeshwari-Vikhroli Link Road (JVLR) bridge on the Western Express Highway (WEH) are advised to plan their travel accordingly.
