Marathi people are not allowed to apply or Marathi guys can't apply here, this post shared on LinkedIn by a freelance HR recruiter is going viral. Many people have expressed displeasure over this. This HR is a freelance recruiter from Gujarat.


Currently, a post is going viral on social media, in which a controversy has started due to a post made by the HR of a company on LinkedIn. HR is looking for a suitable candidate for a Graphic Designer vacancy for a company in Mumbai. But while saying all this, she made one condition which is being resented.


The HR of the company shared a post saying that they are looking for a candidate. In this post, the HR said that they are looking for a graphic designer in Mumbai. Minimum 1 year or more experience required. After that the company told what things are expected from this candidate. The first condition was that a Marathi man is not allowed to apply here or a Marathi man cannot apply here.

Netizens have shared a screenshot of that HR's post from their X account. A netizen said that discrimination is going on. After that, other netizens also started trolling her. Seeing this, the post was deleted on social media after some time. Even after HR removed this post from her profile, netizens did not stop trolling her. He further shared this screenshot and said to file a complaint against her.

Realising the seriousness of these cases, the HR shared a post and apologised. I apologise. A few days ago I shared a post looking for candidates for a graphic designer position. Just one sentence in that post has hurt many hearts. I want to tell you all that I do not support any kind of discrimination against anyone. I posted it because of my mistake.
