Many people have been waiting to see the Mulk actor Rishi Kapoor back on screen and the today Excel Entertainment announced their upcoming venture featuring him. The Rishi Kapoor starrer is titled Sharmaji Namkeen.
Rishi Kapoor had not been keeping well for a while and was in US for over a year. He has returned to India in September.
Ritesh Sidhwani took to social media and shared a picture with the team with the caption,

Sharmaji Namkeen will also mark as Rishi Kapoor's first project after his sabbatical from Bollywood and will also star the evergreen actress Juhi Chawla. The duo had collaborated earlier for a superhit movie Bol Radha Bol.

The movie will be produced by Excel Entertainment(Ritesh Sidhwani and Farhan Akhtar) in collaboration with MacGuffin Pictures (Honey Trehan and Abhishek Chaubey), it will be directed by Hitesh Bhatia.
Earlier in the day, Rishi Kapoor also took to Twitter to express that parents should never give nicknames to their kids. He took to Twitter to share a throwback picture of him, in which he can be seen wearing a hat with his nickname 'Chintoo' printed on it. In a separate tweet, Mr Kapoor wrote about reclaiming his real name: "Worked very hard to get Rishi Kapoor back as my name. Parents must never nickname a child. I never did."
