In the month of May, 12,000 houses were sold in Mumbai and the state government got INR 1,034 crore as stamp duty from the sale of these houses. This year, house sales in Mumbai are stable and remain between INR 11,000 and INR 14,000. 10,997 houses were sold in January and 12,055 houses were sold in February. However, there was an increase in it in March and nearly 14,000 houses were sold in this month. In April, 11,648 houses were sold. Now there is a slight increase in home sales in May.


Home sales have reached the mark of 12 thousand in May. 1034 crores revenue has been received from stamp duty from this house sale. This house sale in the month of May is considered satisfactory. Last year, 9,823 houses were sold in May.

9,839 houses were sold in 2022 and five thousand 360 houses were sold in 2021. During the corona period, only 207 houses were sold in May 2020. Meanwhile, May 2024 home sales are the highest May home sales ever.
