Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde inaugurated the newly renovated 'Chief Minister's War Room' at Mantralaya on Monday, September 23. This will ensure proper project coordination between the funding mechanisms and project implementation processes.
Additionally, a mural showing ongoing infrastructure projects was also dedicated at the entrance.
More than 200 meetings have been held to push the projects forward.
The Chief Minister inspected the system after its inauguration. Brijesh Singh, the principal secretary and director of communication and public relations, along with upper assistant secretary Vikas Kharge, also attended the event.
Here are the features of the new system:
1. The war room will monitor infrastructure projects across Maharashtra in real time.
2. It will oversee 74 infrastructure projects spanning 15 sectors, valued at INR 4 lakh crore.
3. There will be specialised dashboards for executives, sectors, and individual projects to improve monitoring and evaluation.
4. Departments will receive automatic notifications about pending files and project delays.
5. The system will manage project-related documents and track their status to streamline workflows.
6. The system will also help identify and address obstacles that may slow down project progress.
7. The war room will feature a modern corporate theme with a large LED screen for presentations and meetings.
8. The system uses upgraded technology and has increased space for better functionality.
