A truck rammed into the stationed dumper on the Eastern Expressway in the early hours of Friday morning. Then a bike ride rammed into a truck which claimed the bike rider’s life. Bike rider Vaibhav Dawkhar (27) died in this accident. Two people in the truck were injured.
Dumper traffic was moving towards Bhiwandi from the Eastern Expressway around 3 am. As the dumper approached the flyover at Golden Dyes, the wheel of the dumper got punctured. So the dumper driver parked the dumper on the road. At the same time, the truck coming from behind hit the dumper. The two-wheeler driver Vaibhav Dawkhar who was on his way to his home in Balkum was riding behind the truck. When the truck rammed into the dumper, Vaibhav Dawkhar’s bike rammed into the truck and Dwakhar was seriously injured in the accident.
The driver of the truck Dharmendra Yadav and his colleague Sunil Bakre were also injured. Vaibhav was taken to a private hospital, but he died before being admitted to the hospital. Dharmendra and Sunil are undergoing treatment at the District Government Hospital.
