Maharashtra Governor CP Radhakrishnan presented the Bharat Ratna Dr Ambedkar Award to individuals who have made outstanding contributions in various fields. In this award ceremony held at ISKCON Auditorium in Mumbai, well-known film actor Prem Chopra was presented with the Lifetime Achievement Award by the Governor.
The Governor conferred the Bharat Ratna Dr Ambedkar Award on Legislative Council Member Dr Bharti Lavekar, Actor Sunil Paul, Cricket Umpire Anil Chaudhary, Dr Basant Goyal, Writer Mustafa Gom etc.
The program was attended by Union Minister of State for Social Justice and Empowerment Ramdas Athawale, President of Buddhanjali Research Foundation Charitable Trust Kailash Masoom and other invitees.
