A young man died in an accident in Worli after a businessman's luxury car hit a two-wheeler. The name of this young man is Vinod Lad (28). While the incident of Kaveri Nakhwa's death due to being run over by a luxury car is still in news, a similar incident has taken place just 100 meters away from the same place where the incident took place.
On July 20, while returning home from work on A G Khan Abdul Ghaffar Khan Road near Worli Seaface, Vinod's bike was hit from behind by a BMW car. He fell down and suffered serious head injuries. The driver of another auto which was coming behind took him to Nair Hospital. Vinod is being treated in the intensive care unit where he passed away during the treatment on Saturday.
Sources informed that the vehicle involved in the accident belonged to a perfumer from Thane. The businessman was in Worli for a family event at the Four Seasons Hotel in Worli. It has been mentioned in the complaint that the driver of the businessman, Kiran Indulkar, was driving the car at the time of the accident. The Worli police have registered a case on the complaint of Vinod's cousin Kishore Lad.
Deceased was scheduled to marry in December
A native of Malvan, Vinod was working as a supervisor in a private transport company in Thane. After losing his parents at a young age, he completed his graduation and got this job on his own. Vinod was staying with his cousin at Hill Road. Vinod was going to get married in December. His brother-in-law Suryakant Jadhav informed that he had recently bought a mangalsutra and a ring too.
