Coldplay Ticket Alleged Black Market Case: 30 Suspects Booked Following BookMyShow's Complaint

The Mumbai Police has registered a case based on a complaint filed by BookMyShow regarding the black market sale of Coldplay concert tickets. It has been alleged that some suspects are selling fake tickets or selling concert tickets at inflated prices. 


Although no one has been directly named in the complaint, the names of 30 suspects, owners of mobile numbers, social media accounts and websites have been provided. It is alleged that these suspects re-sold the tickets at inflated rates.

The police have registered a case on the complaint filed by Poonam Mitra, General Manager of Legal Department of Book My Show. The Vile Parle police have registered a case against unknown persons under Sections 318(4) and 319(2) of the Indian Penal Code and 66(c) of the Information Technology Act and have started an investigation, a police official said.
