A disturbing case came to a light where a 20-year-old woman was allegedly raped by an auto-rickshaw driver and the woman was found with surgical blade inserted into her vagina wrapped in plastic and stones. The driver was arrested on charges of rape. However, as per the preliminary police investigations, the woman may have inserted the objects herself, as per the report by Free Press Journal.

It is believed that the woman allegedly inserted items into her vagina to avoid being scolded by her parents for being raped. As per the NDTV report, the woman and the driver had gone to Arnala Beach with an intention to spend the night.

However, as she did not carry her valid ID card, they spent the night on the beach. It is when the driver allegedly raped the woman and fled from the spot.

Distressed and panicked, the woman returned to Nalasopara railway station but hesitated to face her family. To avoid confrontation, she reportedly inserted a surgical knife and stones into her vagina. Suffering from severe pain and bleeding, she sought help from local police, who filed a rape case against the driver and ensured she received medical attention.

Initially, the woman claimed that she was an orphan from Varanasi however, further investigation revealed that she has a family. Her father disclosed that she had filed two rapes complaints back in 2023 at Nirmal Nagar and Shivaji Nagar police stations in Mumbai

According to the police, the woman might be suffering from mental health issues.The accused auto-rickshaw driver has been arrested, and investigations are ongoing to verify the woman's claims and determine the sequence of events.
