A senior citizen woman from Ghansoli forgot a gold chain worth one and a half lakh rupees in a rickshaw. The police checked as many as 35 CCTV footages to find the rickshaw and traced the rickshaw driver. Within two days, the woman got the gold chain back.
Chandrika Sasidharan bought a gold chain weighing 20 grams from a goldsmith near Vashi railway station. But she forgot it in the rickshaw while coming home. She lodged a complaint at Rabale police station.

Rabale Police Station Senior Police Inspector Sanjeev Dhumal started investigating the chain. For this, Sasidharan examined the footage of more than 35 CCTV cameras on the route from the time she boarded the rickshaw to alighting. After tracing the rickshaw owner, the police understood that the rickshaw owner had sold the rickshaw to another person and gone to Uttar Pradesh. So a new owner was sought. But it came to light that he also sold the rickshaw to a person living in Koparkhairane. After that, the rickshaw driver was detained at Koparkhairane. On further questioning the rickshaw driver handed over the gold chain.
