Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan was injured during a shocking home invasion at his Bandra residence. The incident occurred between 3:30 am and 4:00 am when an unidentified thief entered his house. Saif was stabbed multiple times, sustaining six injuries, two of which were deep, including one near his spine. He is currently undergoing treatment at Lilavati Hospital.
Dr. Neeraj Uttamani, COO of Lilavati Hospital, confirmed the injuries, stating, "Saif has sustained six injuries, with two being severe. A wound is near his spine, and surgery is underway." Neurosurgeon Dr. Nitin Dange, cosmetic surgeon Dr. Leena Jain, and anesthetist Dr. Nisha Gandhi performed the two-and-a-half-hour procedure. Updates on his condition are expected soon.
The police reported that the thief attacked Saif before fleeing when other family members awoke. Law enforcement is reviewing CCTV footage and investigating the matter. Security outside Saif's residence has been heightened.
