On August 7, the fourth merit list of FYJC was announced but several students could not secure admissions due to higher cutoffs. While four merit lists of the FYJC admissions have been issued so far, many students’ names were not on any of the lists.
So, the students along with their parents approached the Deputy Director of Education department, Rajendra Ahire who assured them that the schedule for the special list for FYJC admissions will be issued soon and ascertained the admission of every student.

Earlier, the government also had declared that in case, if any student is unable to secure admission even in the fourth merit list, then the government will issue a special list that will assist the students in securing admissions. However, 32,000 students have been devoid of admissions and so Ahire stated that the schedule of the special list will be out in two days.
After the fourth merit list was issued on Tuesday, out of the 81,063 students, only 49,062 students secured admissions whereas the other 32,001 students could not secure admissions in any college.
