A Mumbai resident, Mishquat, has spent a staggering INR 9.4 lakh on Starbucks orders through Zomato. Her daily purchase of cinnamon coffee caught the attention of both Starbucks and Zomato. In response, Starbucks featured Mishquat in a recent ad, celebrating her passion for their coffee.

Zomato’s marketing head, Sahibjeet Singh Sawhney, shared the ad on LinkedIn. In the ad, Sawhney introduces Mishquat's mother. She appears shocked when she discovers the high bills her daughter has collected.

Then, the store manager suggests she try the "Mishquat Special" coffee before making any judgments. Upon tasting, she understood why her daughter loved this coffee. This makes the mother emotional. The ad concludes with Zomato offering customers a discount coupon in honour of Mishquat.

Sawhney thanks Mishquat and her mother for allowing Zomato to share their story. The ad quickly garnered reactions from users. Some praised the heartfelt story, while others humorously calculated Mishquat’s expenses.

One user remarked that her Starbucks orders could fund a startup. Another joked that Mishquat might secretly be a shareholder in Starbucks.

One user did the math and speculated that if a large Starbucks latte with cinnamon costs around INR 320, Mishquat might be spending around INR 9,600 per month, or INR 1,15,200 annually. Based on this, the user estimated that she could have been placing orders for eight years. However, Zomato has offered Starbucks since 2020, so the user also noted that Mishquat might have made group or bulk orders on certain occasions.
