Nagpur-Mumbai Samruddhi Highway, an ambitious project of the state government, was opened for traffic. The bridge passing over the Samriddhi highway passing through Shahapur taluka has been severely damaged.
Underpasses and overbridges have been constructed for the villages along this highway so that there is no obstruction to the Mumbai-Nagpur Samruddhi Highway. The bridge connecting the villages Shere-Bavghar-Shendrun has been severely damaged. The Samruddhi Highway passing through Shahapur taluka is yet to open for traffic. But even before that, a question mark has arisen regarding the quality of highway work.
Congress made a serious allegation against the government
There is a lot of corruption in the Mahayuti government in the state, there is commission corruption in every department. There has been a lot of corruption in the construction of the Mumbai Nagpur Samruddhi Highway, which was built at a cost of 55 thousand crore rupees. Due to corruption, this highway has got cracks within a year. Maharashtra Pradesh Congress Committee President Nana Patole has made a strong attack that only the rulers have prospered from Samruddhi Highway, which has been created as a highway of death.
