The Maharashtra Tourism Development Corporation (MTDC) is offering a battery-operated vehicle to tourists visiting the Raj Bhavan.
Raj Bhavan has been getting a lot of tourist traction as the estate has several heritage bungalows, trees, large lawns and a beach. Tourists are really pouring in numbers and to develop tourism, MTDC has decided to up their game.
Raj Bhavan is the official residence of the Governor, and one of the best-protected landmarks of Mumbai.
The Malabar Hill spot is located on 50 acres (200,000 m2) of sylvan surroundings, surrounded on three sides by the sea.
The two-hour trip starts at 6:00 am and comes with a walk through the Raj Bhavan. The Battery-Operated Vehicle will assist in offering an eco-friendly tour of the Raj Bhavan. The vehicle can hold around 14-15 people for the tour at a time.
This battery-operated vehicle was inaugurated on Tuesday, October 31 by the governor of Maharashtra, C. Vidyasagar Rao and Tourism Minister Jaykumar Rawal.’
