It was a complete flop show for Shiv Sena and NCP candidates in the Bihar Assembly elections. Shiv Sena, which had decided to contest 50 seats but ultimately fielded candidates in only 22 seats. Furthermore, the party has got votes less than those cast for None of the Above (NOTA) option.
While the JD(U)-BJP alliance NDA has taken a clear lead in the Bihar elections. Post the win, Maharashtra BJP MLAs left no stones unturned to take a dig at the poor performance of Shiv Sena, which is heading Maha Vikas Aghadi government in Maharashtra.
Taking it Twitter, BJP MLA Atul Bhatkhalkar mocked Shiv Sena as he posted, “In Bihar, Sonia Sena has received less votes than NOTA. Biscuits are good as an election symbol. Shame on you (Shiv Sena) for blowing your own trumpet.”

NOTA पेक्षा कमी मते...
निवडणूक चिन्ह म्हणून बिस्किटच बरे होते. विनाकारण तुतारीची लाज काढली...😂😂😂
A little back story worth mentioning is that Shiv Sena has a bow and arrow as their election symbol. However, Nitish Kumar had objected to the Shiv Sena's election symbol in Bihar and the Election Commission had given ‘Biscuit’ as the symbol to contest the elections. However, as Shiv Sena refused to accept it, the party was given trumpet as its symbol.
Further, NCP failed to arrive at seat adjustment with the RJD-Congress-Communist alliance. The party led by Sharad Pawar also failed miserably to make a mark in these polls. Experts blame lack of organisational base and effective poll strategy for the poor show of the party in Bihar elections.
Shiv Sena has bagged a total of 0.05 per cent votes while NCP got 0.23 per cent share in their kitty. Meanwhile, NOTA got 1.74 per cent votes. Sena and NCP candidates have lost their deposits.
On the other hand, BJP MLA Nitesh Rane lauded Devendra Fadnavis for NDA’s win in the Bihar by-elections. “Now, Maharashtra also wants Devendraji, Fadnavis will definitely come again!!!” tweeted Rane.

महाराष्ट्र ला पण देवेंद्रजीच पाहिजे..
पुन्हा येणार..येणारच!!!
The Sena and NCP both did not get the expected success in the Bihar elections. The results of the Bihar Assembly elections were declared on Tuesday, November 10.
