A few days ago, an 11-year-old girl was molested in the vicinity of Thane Nagar police station. After registering a case under POCSO Act, Thane Police arrested the accused. But the accused was out on bail in just two days. On this incident, Maharashtra Navnirman Sena president Raj Thackeray raised a question as to how the accused of molestation gets bail. He also instructed the police to record the statement of the victim girl in this case and arrest the accused again.
MNS President Raj Thackeray came to Thane on October 18 to taste the famous Misal. MNS leaders Amit Thackeray, Avinash Jadhav, Raj Thackeray's wife Sharmila Thackeray were present with him on this occasion. A few days ago in Thane, a minor girl was molested within the limits of Thane Nagar Police Station. Thane police arrested the accused in this case. A case was registered against him under the POCSO Act. But he got bail immediately. After this incident, BJP, Shiv Sena (Thackeray Group) and MNS took an aggressive stance. MNS and Thackeray group had taken out a march for strict action against the accused. A large number of citizens participated in this march.
MNS president Raj Thackeray also commented on the issue and also met the victim girl's family. He then interacted with the media. Raj Thackeray said that don't treat this matter as lightly as Badlapur. It does not matter which party the person belongs to, the party never plays a role either. Thackeray raised the question of how the court also grants him bail. He also instructed the police to record the minor girl's statement again and arrest the person.
