Mumbai - The BMC election fever has not only gripped the politicians, political parties and voters but also the civil servants. A Mumbai Police officer has jumped into the election fray by resigning from his post of a Sub Inspector. The said person is Gangaram Kamble who has aspirations to serve the people politically after serving them for 30 years in the police department. Kamble was earlier posted in the Shivaji Nagar police station in its anti-eve teasing squad. He worked on the post of a PSI for two years. Now, he plans to fight the BMC election as an Independent candidate from Ward No. 139.
