Parel- Shiv Sena has announced its list of candidates and has left aspiring Shiv Sainiks in Sewree-Walada Constituency upset with the party’s decision as their names were not included in the candidates' list.
The Shiv Sena has announced it candidates list in many wards. With the declaration of the lists, some aspiring candidates have been happy and some have been disappointed upset as they did not figure in the list.
Party workers in ward 178 are upset with the party’s decision while in the Sewree ward 204, party workers locked the party office as a mark of protest. Deputy Shakha Pramukh Kiran Tawade was expecting a ticket, but the Sena gave the ticket to Shakha Pramukh Anil Kokhil, angering some party workers.
Sena MLA Ajay Choudhari, in an attempt to placate both sides, has said that he will talk to the seniors and try to find a middle path. Party workers have warned him that if a solution was not found soon, the Sena could well face a revolt from within.
