Adani Realty, the real estate division of the Adani Group, has announced plans to develop 6–8 million square feet of residential, commercial, and retail space in Navi Mumbai. It would also have a convention centre with a seating capacity of 25,000. This facility will be located next to the upcoming Navi Mumbai International Airport (NMIA).
The convention center will compete with the Jio World Convention Centre in the Bandra Kurla Complex (BKC). It will include five-star hotels, corporate meeting rooms, and retail outlets. It is part of an integrated development project spanning 3–3.5 million square feet.
Its location near Navi Mumbai Airport means it won't have connectivity issues that Jio World Centre in BKC faces.
Adani Realty has also acquired a 24-acre plot near the Bandra-Worli Sea Link. Here, the company plans to build a mixed-use complex. Residential development will occupy 3.5 million square feet out of the total 4.5 million square feet of this project.
In addition, the company is repurposing the 18-acre former ACC campus in Thane into a residential hub. The project will feature six-story residential buildings.
Adani Realty's expansion is not limited to Mumbai. The company has an extensive portfolio of residential, commercial, and retail projects in cities like Ahmedabad, Gurugram, Pune, and Odisha.
Since its start 12 years ago, the company has completed 24 million square feet of projects and is working on an extra 61 million square feet. The company’s developments align with the growing MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions) market.
