The Navi Mumbai Municipal Corporation (NMMC) has scheduled maintenance work at the Bhokarpada Water Treatment Plant and the feeder main pipeline from Morbe Dam to Digha on March 6.

Owing to this, the water supply will be suspended for 10 hours, from 10 am to 8 pm in Navi Mumbai, Kamothe, and Kharghar.

Areas under NMMC's jurisdiction that will be affected include Belapur, Nerul, Turbhe, Vashi, Koparkhairane, Ghansoli, and Airoli. Similarly, Kamothe and Kharghar (CIDCO-administered nodes) will also experience a water cut during this period.

As per the NMMC notification, water supply will resume on Friday, March 7, but with low pressure until normal operations are restored. Residents must use water judiciously during this period, civic officials urged.
