The Kalyan Dombivli Municipal Corporation (KDMC) has announced a water supply shutdown in Dombivli city on November 26, from 11 am to 6 pm. This is due to the repair of electrical and mechanical equipment at the water treatment plant in Netivali, as well as leakage and valve repair work on distribution channels in the F, C, and H sections of Dombivli, according to the municipality's water supply department.

As the water supply to Dombivali East and West will remain closed on Tuesday, there is a possibility of low pressure water supply on the second day. Therefore, the municipality has appealed to the citizens to store enough water for one day.

The distribution channels supplying water at many places in Dombivli East F, C and H Ward limits in the West are leaking. This seepage water flows through the road. When the municipality starts supplying water in the morning, afternoon and evening, more water flows from the leaking areas through the water distribution channels.

The Kalyan Dombivli Municipality staff was busy with the assembly election work for the last two months. Therefore, it was not possible for the water supply authorities to undertake these water leakage works immediately. Now that the elections are over, the officials of the water supply department have taken up these repair works immediately.
