Mumbai: Part of four-storey building collapses in Bhendi Bazar, no injuries reported

On the intervening night of Thursday, December 12 and Friday, December 13, a partial building collapse was reported at the Husainibai Building, located at 40 Tan Tanpura Street, Nisan Pada, near Khoja Jamat Khana in Bhendi Bazaar.

Details On The Incident

The structure, a ground-plus-four-floor vacant building collapsed in a few minutes, leaving debris scattered across the site, according to the MFB. Five vehicles of the fire brigade team reached the location and secured the area.

As per the PTI report, no injuries or casualties were reported in the collapse, as the building had been vacated earlier. To manage the aftermath of the collapse, residents in the vicinity were alerted to avoid the area as authorities worked.
