On June 10, 115 police officers and employees of the state were honored with the Police Gallantry Medal, the President's Police Medal for Distinguished Service and the Police Medal for Meritorious Service by Governor Ramesh Bais. The Police Medals announced on Independence Day 2021 and Republic Day 2022 were awarded at a medal investiture ceremony held at Durbar Hall, Raj Bhavan Mumbai.
30 police officers and jawans were awarded the Police Gallantry Medal, while 7 police officers and jawans were awarded the President's Police Medal for Meritorious Service. Seventy-eight (78) police officers and enforcers were awarded the Police Medal for Meritorious Service.
Additional Chief Secretary (Home) Sujata Saunik, Director General of Police Rashmi Shukla, Mumbai Police Commissioner Vivek Phansalkar, police officers, retired police officers and families of respected police officers were present at the police investiture ceremony.

Race. Po. Force Group No. 6, Dhule, Chandrakant Gundge, retired Senior Police Inspector, Police Training Center Nanvij, Daund and Mirza Anwar Baig Ibrahim Baig, retired Sub-Inspector of Police, Nanded, were awarded the President's Police Medal for Meritorious Service.
