It has not even been two months since the completion of the internal roads in Aarey Dairy Colony. However, this road has become potholed in the first phase of monsoon. Meanwhile, locals say that poor quality materials are being used in the road repair work.


The road from Aarey Market to Royal Palms was constructed in May. Meanwhile, locals pointed out that the internal road in Aarey Dairy Colony is also full of potholes. Keeping in mind that the residents have to travel through the bad road, this road was repaired in the month of May itself.

Meanwhile, due to the rains in the early days of June, potholes have started forming on this road. According to the current condition of the road, poor quality materials have been used for repairing the road and the concerned authorities and contractors are responsible for the poor work.


Meanwhile, the High Court has directed the state government to immediately take up its repair and maintenance works after observing that the internal roads in Aarey Dairy Colony are in a very deplorable condition. Aarey Dairy Colony consists of 27 Adivasi Padas including a cow shed and Royal Palms premises.
