In a dhaba in Bandra, a dead mouse was found in a chicken dish. In this regard, the Bandra police have registered a case against the dhaba manager, the chef and the chicken supplier. Meanwhile, the government has now taken steps in this matter and the food and drug administration department has started an investigation session in hotels in Mumbai. Food and Drug Administration Minister Dharmarao Baba Atram gave this information while talking to TV9 Marathi.
“Three to four days ago, our department received a complaint that a rat was found in the food. Samples are being taken from that perspective. Each officer is ordered to check five restaurants in his area. Also, action will be taken against the restaurant where the rat was found in the food", said Dharmaraobaba Atram.
“The authorities have also been instructed which hotel should be raided, samples have been taken from them and sent to the lab. Appropriate action will be taken after receiving his report", said Dharmarao Atram. He also warned that if there is a serious crime, they will be punished under MCOCA charges. He also informed that almost INR 100 crores of income has been obtained from this campaign since he became a minister. He warned that the license of the respective hotels will be revoked if such incidents continue.
