On late Thursday night, a bus coming from Pune to Mumbai overturned on the Sanpada Bridge at Sion-Panvel Expressway in Navi Mumbai around 11:30 pm. The Injured were taken to NMMC Hospital at Vashi.
According to the police, the bus was ferrying 20 passengers. Around 11:30 pm, the driver lost his control and collided with a divider. Fortunately, no casualties were reported.
The police said that the road was slippery as it had drizzled in the evening and the accident did not affect the traffic. The police will take statements of the driver and passengers to know the exact cause of the accident.
