Akshay Shinde’s parents are running from pillar to post to carry out final rites of their son who was an accused in Badlapur’s sexually molesting case where two school girls were reportedly molested in a private school’s washroom. After getting rejected in Badlapur, parents are not being allowed to cremate their son in Ambernath as well. The Ambernath municipal corporation has denied the application of cremating Akshay Shinde. MNS party workers in Ambernath are opposing the cremation as well.

Accused Akshay Shinde, who was in police custody was killed in a police encounter on Monday, September 23. Many questions are being raised on this encounter. At the same time, the cremation of Akshay's body has come to a halt. On Thursday, there was opposition to the burial of Akshay's body at Kalwa in Thane city. Earlier, there was opposition to his cremation in Badlapur city. So the parents visited the Hindu graveyard in Ambernath. Ambernath MNS District Vice President Shailesh Shirke has opposed Akshay's burial.
