On December 16, actor Arjun Rampal has sought six days time to appear before the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB). He was summoned by NCB to come in for questions today with regards to the drug case, which the officials have been probing for over a few months now. This is the second time, Arjun has been summoned. Earlier, the NCB had questioned him and his girlfriend Gabriela with regards to the matter.
Reports state that the NCB has found some new evidence in its investigation for which Arjun will be questioned again for verification. He is expected to arrive at Mumbai, on Wednesday, December 16, for questioning.
Arjun had stated that he had nothing to do with the drugs case during the earlier interrogation and told that he had no information about the drugs. His girlfriend Gabriela was been questioned twice by the NCB.
During the previous investigation at Arjun's residence, the NCB squad had found some prohibited pills, to which he replied that he was taking them on the advice and consultation of the doctor.
Furthermore, Gabriela's brother, Agisilaos Demetriades was also arrested by the NCB, and the officials raided the house in Lonavala where he lived. Reports state that he was living there with his girlfriend, and 0.8 grams of hashish was seized from him. Their house in Khar was later raided and a strip of Alprazolam pills was found there. Besides this, NCB also arrested Arjun's friend, Paul Bartel, who is an Australian working as an architect for a large construction company in the city.
Earlier on December 15, Agisilaos was given bail from the case.
