On April 14, shooters believed to be connected to Bishnoi’s group fired shots near Salman’s residence at Galaxy Apartments in Bandra, likely as an intimidation tactic. This escalation came after the murder of Bandra politician Baba Siddique, with warnings that anyone associated with Salman could be at risk.
Salim Khan Stands Firm
Adding to the tension, Salim Khan, father of the embattled actor, reportedly declared that Salman would not apologize for the blackbuck hunting allegations, a sensitive issue for the Bishnoi community as blackbucks hold religious significance to them. Salim Khan asserted his son’s innocence, leaving no grounds for an apology. Sources indicate that this stance may have further provoked Bishnoi’s gang, fueling their resolve to intimidate the Khan family.
