The investigation conducted by the Vishnunagar police has revealed that a wife living in Bhagwan Kathenagar in Dombivli West tortured her husband mentally and physically with the help of his friends and forced him to commit suicide. The husband committed suicide eight months ago, when the police started an investigation.
The deceased husband's name is Sudhakar Yashwant Yadav (42, resident, Lilabai Mhatre Chawl, Bhagwan Kathe Nagar, Dombivli). Name of the accused wife is Sanjana Sudhakar Yadav (31). Sanjana mentally tortured her husband with the help of Mohammed Shaikh, Mahesh Patil and a stranger. The accused harassed him in various ways to make his life hell. Eight months ago Sudhakar Yadav committed suicide by hanging himself while he was alone in his house after being harassed by his wife and her friends.
Sudhakar's brother Prabhakar Yashwant Yadav, who lives in Badlapur, filed a complaint in December 2023 at the Vishnunagar police station regarding his brother's suicide. Pursuant to this complaint, the Vishnunagar police conducted a thorough investigation. In this investigation, it came out that Sudhakar was being harassed by his wife Sanjana and the accused friend. Tired of this trouble, Sudhakar Yadav has committed suicide by hanging himself in his residence. After this investigation, Vishnunagar police have registered a case against his wife Sanjana along with her accused friends. Police sub-inspector G B Devre investigated the matter.
