Wadala GRP arrested two in the case of theft in the local train. Police also recovered the weapon from them. Billa Yadav (24) and Abhishek Dubey (23) were arrested from Guru Teg Bahadur railway station. Both of them are residents of Sion Koliwada.
A few days back, commuter Isha Alam was travelling from GTB – CST when her purse was stolen. Isha reported the theft in Wadala GRP. CBI was called in to tackle the case as the theft cases were increasing. CBI nabbed two from GTB on grounds of suspicion.
When they started checking them, they found a knife. They event admitted that they stole a purse which had a load of cash. Police have booked them under IPC sections 394, 506 and 34. The thieves will remain under police custody until 13 April
