A woman was strangled by a young woman out of a love affair that took place in Andheri East on Sunday. The police immediately registered a case of murder and arrested the accused boyfriend Zaib Khawaja Hussain Solkar (22). The police have seized the cloth that was used by the accused to commit the murder and further investigation is underway in this matter.
On the complaint of Irshad Syed, the Sahar police have registered a case of murder in this case. Syed is a tempo driver and lives at Ashok Tower in Marol area of Andheri East. Syed's niece Sara Syed was strangled to death at her brother's house in Chiman Pada, Andheri East. She was rushed to Cooper Hospital. Doctors there declared her dead. Sahar Police reached the spot after getting information about this matter. When they immediately investigated, there was an argument between Sara and her boyfriend Zaib Solkar and it was found that the accused killed her by strangling her with his hands and the cloth.
Accordingly, the police registered a case under IPC section 302 on the complaint of Irshad Syed and started the investigation. At that time, the police found that Zaib was living in Jogeshwari East. Immediately the police team reached the spot. They arrested the accused Zaib. There were regular arguments between the two and hence he killed the young woman, said the accused to the police.
