Old woman robbed of jewellery worth lakhs from her flat

An old woman staying at Horizon Building on the Link Road of Borivali West has lodged a complaint of theft against her domestic help and her sister.

As per the information at hand, Pushpa, resides her family in the Horizon Building in Borivali west where she had hired a maid by the name of Deepa for help in household chores. At times, Deepa was accompanied by her sister at work as well. Turns out, that Pushpa had gone out of station for a couple of days and she happened to return home this Saturday just to find that someone has stolen her jewellery worth 7 lakhs and some other things as well. Seeing this, Pushpa filed a complaint with the local police and immediately reached the spot to take the pulse of the situation. The police have filed the case against Deepa and her sister under the sections of 381 and 34 and are on a lookout for both of them.
