Mumbai: Son attacks and murders his mother for disturbing his sleep

Son attacked and killed his 78-year-old mother upon disturbing his sleep. The incident took place in Grant Road. D B Marg police have arrested the accused Subhash Wagh (64).


Police said that the accused stabbed the mother on the neck, chest and hand with a knife. The deceased woman has been identified as Ramabai Nathu Pisal (78) and was a resident of Panditalaya Building at Grant Road. Accused Subhash Wagh lived with his mother. As Subhash had to get up early in the morning to fill water, he used to sleep early at night. At that time, his mother Ramabai was working, so his sleep was disturbed.

There were many arguments between them. The two had an argument on Tuesday due to the same reason. From that, the accused stabbed the mother on the neck, chest and hands with a vegetable cutter. Ramabai was taken to JJ Hospital where doctors declared her dead. 

On the complaint of Vedaksh Wagh, grandson of Ramabai and nephew of accused Subhash, DB Marg police registered a case of murder and arrested the accused.
