On Friday, May 17, Shankar Manohar Avhad (30) was deployed at Tilak Nagar Railway station when he saw Abdul Qadir Ansari Abdul Aziza (31) parking his two-wheeler near the ticket counter. He approached him to remove it when 3 more people started attacking and abusing Avhad. He tried his best to save himself from the clutches of these 4 people but wasn't able to retaliate. A Government Railway Police (GRP) woman officer also came to his rescue but wasn't successful.

The incident was captured on the CCTV camera which proved as a piece of evidence for Avhad while registering the police complaint. The case has been filed in Nehru Nagar police station and the two prime accused have been arrested whereas the other two are on a run.
They have been booked under IPC 353 for assault or criminal force to deter public servant from discharging duty and IPC 323 for voluntarily causing hurt.
