A 26-year-old woman's half-naked and decomposed body was found in a house in Shivajinagar area on Sunday morning. The postmortem of the woman's body was conducted at JJ Hospital and the doctors said that the woman died due to gunshot wounds on her chest and neck. According to this, the police have registered a case and have started searching for the accused.
The name of the deceased woman is Priyanka Gokul Taide alias Koli (26) and she lived alone in Shivajinagar area. She was married four years ago. She was working in a mall in Thane. Her husband was working as a furniture maker. He had given up work after marriage. Due to this, both of them had fights. After her husband fell ill, he left for the village. The two separated a year ago.

Prior to her marriage, she had an affair with a young man, however, she stopped talking to him because of his sceptical attitude. She had told her family that he was harassing her because of this. Her father has said in the police complaint that her phone was switched off since July 3.
Priyanka's house was closed from outside and a bad smell was coming from the house. The Srinagar police informed her father on July 7. After that, when they broke the lock of the house and went inside to inspect, Priyanka's body was found half-decomposed and semi-naked in the house. The police identified her as Priyanka from the ornaments on her ears and feet. The post-mortem of the dead body was conducted at JJ Hospital and the doctors said that the woman died due to gunshot wounds on the chest and neck, the police informed.
