National Film Development Corporation (NFDC) India has come together with 92.7 Big FM and 1018mb for the outreach initiative, 'Film Aaj Kal Screenings and Conversations', classic movies like Salaam Bombay, Mammo, Mirch Masala and Jaane Bhi Do Yaaron will be screened.
Other films backed by the National Film Development Corporation (NFDC), to be screened are Gaman, Salim Langde Pe Mat Ro, Arvind Desai Ki Ajeeb Dastaan, Naseem, Raghu Romeo and Dharavi.
These films are going to be screened at two venues -- Harkat Studios and G5A from July 15 to August 15.
The collaboration also includes a weekly radio show titled "Film Aaj Kal". Hosted by popular radio jockey Siddharth Mishra, it is a series of conversations between filmmakers discussing the NFDC classics evoking a renewed interest in the films.
