Dadar- Sulabha Deshpande, noted actress and theater personality will now have an award in her memory. Mumbai Marathi Granth sangrahalay, Dadar have decided to come up with a special award in the memory of veteran actress Sulbha Deshpande, for her contribution to theater. Newcomers will be felicitated by this award which includes a cash prize of Rs. 25000.
Sulabha Deshpande acted extensively in Hindi and Marathi cinema apart from various television commercials. She was also part of the experimental theater movement of the 60's.
Mumbai Marathi Granth sangrahalay have appealed to people and organisations to donate generously for the funds required for this award . Donations will be accepted in the form of cheques , DD, or cash . And the donors will get a certificate from Mumbai Marathi Granth sangrahalay.
