After Mumbaikars experienced 'bad' air throughout the month of November, the air quality improved slightly in early December. However, after the effects of Cyclone Fengal on Mumbai ended, now it is being pointed out that Mumbai's air is getting polluted again.

According to Sameer App records, 'bad' air was reported in Colaba on Thursday. The air index here was 225 around 5 pm. So, the air index at Kandivali was 254. Also moderate air was reported in the areas of Sion, Powai, Shivajinagar, Shivdi. The air index here was 120, 121, 198, 144 respectively.
Meanwhile, seeing the increasing air pollution of Mumbai, Mumbaikars have started using face masks. It is mainly seen in the CSMT area. On Thursday, Mumbai's air was recorded in the 'moderate' category. At this time the average air index of Mumbai was 134.
Meanwhile, in a report published by Greenpeace India a few days ago, it has been mentioned that the amount of nitrogen oxides in Mumbai is high. It has been mentioned in the report that the concentration of pollutants is highest in Mazgaon and Malad areas.
