Mumbai usually becomes completely dry after the departure of southwest monsoon. However, despite monsoon bidding adieu, unseasonal light showers were witnessed in parts of Mumbai on Wednesday, November 17.
Meanwhile, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted heavy rains with strong winds for the next two days after which the rain activities may perish and no rain woes are expected in the city during this period. In fact, these rains may be a slight relief from the overly humid weather Mumbaikars are battling.
